About FirstPeak Studio

The peak isn't louder than the valley. It's just standing where the light lands first.

Up here in the foothills you can watch it happen. Right before sunrise the whole valley is still dark, and then the highest ground catches the light first. Everything below gets there eventually. The peak just gets there first.

That's the name. The peak isn't louder, and it isn't working harder. It's standing in the right place.

That's what I build for. When somebody in a community you want to reach finally needs what you sell, there's a short moment where they decide who to call. Most businesses are still sitting in shadow when it comes. My job is to put you up where the light lands first, so you're the familiar name before the comparing starts, and they stop looking after yours.

First light. High ground. Be the name they choose first. I didn't write those to fill space on a page. They're the plainest way I know to describe the work.

The studio part is the rest of it. Built by hand, one business at a time, and I don't hand over anything I wouldn't put my own name at the bottom of.

The Owner

I'm Clint Goodrich, and your account is mine personally.

I run FirstPeak Studio out of the Sierra foothills and work with businesses across Northern California. The person you talk to on the first call is the person who writes the plan, builds the site, and answers the phone two years later. And I don't work alone: behind El Dorado Hills Neighbors and the media side stands a full team and a proven network, so the fulfillment never rests on one person's calendar.

  • Built by hand

Every site is hand-coded. No page builder, no theme, no template with your logo dropped in the corner.

  • One business at a time

I take a small number of builds on purpose, so the work in front of me gets real attention.

  • You own all of it

The site, the domain, and every account are yours. If you ever leave, you take all of it with you.

  • Measured in calls and booked work

Not impressions, not likes, not a dashboard full of numbers nobody acts on.

I also publish El Dorado Hills Neighbors, a private community magazine that goes into homes every month. It has its own site, its own readers, and its own life outside of this one. Publishing it taught me something no marketing course does: how differently a business is received when it shows up somewhere people already trust instead of somewhere they're used to skipping.

If I hand it to you, my name is at the bottom of it. Clint Goodrich, FirstPeak Studio

Behind the Placement

The magazine is one title in a much larger network.

The publishing network, in its own words

El Dorado Hills Neighbors is published inside a network that has spent two decades building private community publications and helping local businesses grow inside them. The figures below belong to that network. They describe the scale FirstPeak places through, and nothing else.

Twenty years

Building community publications.

94,000+

Businesses grown.

1,300+

Communities served.

These are the network's numbers. They are not a record of any single campaign, and they are not a prediction of what yours will do.

That's the platform I place through. I'm the one who works your account.

Two Lanes

What I build, and what I place.

Everything here is one of two things. A site I build with my own hands, or a position I put you in so the right people find you.

Build

Custom websites, hand-coded, with the prices published in the open so you can decide before you ever call me.

  • Four build tiers, from a fast credible launch to a flagship engagement
  • Two monthly plans for care and growth, billed month to month
  • Structured data and llms.txt so AI search can actually read you
  • You own the site, the domain, and every account

Reach

Getting your business standing where the light lands first, in the communities you want to be working in.

  • Placement in community publications across Northern California
  • Advanced Meta lead nurture, so a new lead is answered fast
  • Local search support: listings, Google Business Profile, Local Services Ads, socials kits
  • Built to your budget, your goals, and what you're already running

Straight Talk

Who I'm not for.

This is the part most studios leave out. It's cheaper for both of us if I say it now instead of three weeks in.

  • If you need it cheap.

My floor is $2,500 and I don't go under it. There are template shops that will put something up for a few hundred dollars, and for some businesses that is genuinely the right call. I'll tell you if I think you're one of them.

  • If you need it by Friday.

The fastest build I do is two weeks from the day the content is complete, and the bigger ones run longer than that. Rushing a build is how you end up paying twice.

  • If you want to hand it off and never think about it again.

I write, I build, and I place, but I need the owner in the room for a handful of decisions. It's your business, and it shows on the page when you weren't part of it.

  • If you want guaranteed results.

Print placement gets you guaranteed distribution. Digital gets you guaranteed impressions. Nobody guarantees outcomes, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.

  • If you want to be the loudest.

That isn't the work I do. The work is position, being the familiar name in the right place at the right moment. That takes patience more than it takes volume, and it is a slower build than a spike.

  • If you want an account rep instead of an owner.

Here, the owner runs your account, with a full team and a proven network doing the fulfillment behind it. If what you actually want is a big-agency structure where your account passes through layers of hands, I'll say so on the call and point you toward someone better suited.

If none of that scared you off, we're probably going to get along fine.

Twenty minutes on the phone. You tell me what you're trying to grow, and I'll tell you plainly what I'd do about it and what it costs.
